FIRE is the name of song that Dunmore folk musician Reylta has penned in an attempt to represent Ireland at the 2025 Eurovision Song Contest.

Caoimhe Glynn, from Ballinlass in Dunmore, goes by the stage name of Reylta. The singer-songwriter will compete with five other acts for the chance to sing for Ireland at the 69th Eurovision Song Contest, when she performs Fire on the Late Late Show on Friday, February 7.

Reylta began writing and performing her own music at a young age. She attended Ballinlass NS and Dunmore CS, before graduating from the BIMM Music Institute in Dublin with a degree in songwriting.

Reylta performs with an eight-piece band. She released her first debut single in 2019, called Fools Games, and her first album — Everything Unsaved Will Be Lost — was launched in October of 2023.

This year’s Eurovision Song Contest will be held in May in Basel, a city that is known as the cultural capital of Switzerland.
