Two North Galway actors in 2025 Renmore Panto
Runs until this Sunday, Jan 12
Two actors from North Galway are starring in the 2025 Renmore Pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.
The 44th edition of the Renmore Pantomime has been taking place in the Town Hall Theatre in Galway since December 29 and runs until this Sunday January 12.
Directed by Brian and Sean Power, choreographed by Declan J. Gardiner, alongside a new script written by Peter Kennedy, this version of the popular fairy tale is guaranteed to deliver family fun and frolics.
The Wicked Witch Carabose has put her sights on Prince Peter of Pantoland, however the arrival of Snow White is scuppering her plans. Helping the wicked witch will be Moylough native Shane Lennon, who plays the role of Tadpole, her devout servant. Lennon returns to the panto scene following a long break, having first starred in the Renmore Pantomime back in 1991.
On the side of good is Corofin’s Heather Egan. She will be doing all she can to help Prince Peter and Snow White find true love by taking up the part of Minnie Mumble, the prince’s sister. The 19-year-old is appearing in her first pantomime but brings plenty of experience to the table having played Rizzo in Grease and Eliza Doolittle in My Fair Lady in the St Jarlath’s College operas in 2021 and 2022.
The Panto has been a huge hit to date, playing to sellout crowds, with all remaining tickets gone for the final few shows.
