Thirty years of cherished Folk Museum in Lackagh

There was a large attendance in Lackagh last Saturday night to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the founding of the Folk Museum.

The occasion was also used to unveil a commemorative plaque to parishioners John O’Hanlon, William Cullinane and Tom Egan, who were shot by the British crown forces in 1920. Many members of the families of the three men were in attendance.

Mass was celebrated in memory of the three murdered men by local Parish Priest Fr John O’Gorman.
