A YOUNG Traveller from Tuam was inspired to organise a fundraising concert for this week after he lost two close relatives this year.
The Christmas Concert at Bru Bhride this Thursday (December 12) will raise monies to support three worthy causes. The evening of music and song is organised by Bernard Ward and will see some of the best local musical acts from the Travelling community head to Tuam for the event.
The 19-year-old was inspired to organise the concert having sadly lost two people in the space of seven months who were very close to him: his father Laurence and his cousin Patrick.
