Job is the perfect mix

WHEN the position of Biodiversity Officer became available for County Galway, it seemed like a perfect sliding doors moment for Rosina Joyce.

Rosina’s application for the role was a successful one, and she became Galway County Council’s first ever Biodiversity Officer last year.

“I really felt it was the start of a very exciting chapter in my life,” offered Rosina, from Salthill.

Rosina says that “No two days are ever the same” in the job, a good complaint to have in any professional sphere, and she has involvement in projects around the county to ensure that remains the case.
