World-famous choir for concert in Tuam Cathedral
IT will be their first visit to Ireland
One of the most famous choirs in the world, who have played for Kings and Queens and at the 2012 Olympics in London, the London Welsh Choir, will play their first show outside the UK in Tuam Cathedral on November 15.
They will be joined on the night by the Tuam Cathedral Choir and soloists for an evening of music and song. It is in aid of Tuam Cancer Care. The Welsh choir will also play in Galway Cathedral on the following Saturday night in aid of Croi.
It is Caherlistrane musician and singer Matt Keane who is responsible for organising both fundraising concerts and getting this world-famous choir to play in Tuam and Galway City Cathedrals.
