Corofin milliner creates Best Hat at Galway Races
Colour and style among final 15
COROFIN milliner Caithriona King has created the Best Hat at the Galway Races for the second time in her career.
The striking red and gold, side-disc creation was worn by Co Limerick fashionista and secondary school teacher Eva Hayes Morrisey, who scooped the prize of €3,000 at the Ballybrit course this afternoon.
Winner of the coveted Best Dressed Lady was a Laois woman, wearing a chic black ensemble. Davinia Knight from Portarlington took away the cash prize of €10,000 after her “exquisite” look won the hearts of the judges, headed up by Galway’s Mandy Maher and make-artist and social media influencer Michelle Regazzoli-Stone.
