Corofin singer performs in French capital

Supporting act for Gavin James

COROFIN artist Jamie McIntyre was one of the supporting acts for Irish artist Gavin James in Paris last week.

The local singer-songwriter was chosen to take part in Gavin James’ European tour through 3’s City Stages initiative for up-and-coming Irish musicians, and was on stage last Thursday and Friday at the Supersonic Records venue in Paris.

Dáwna, a singer-songwriter from Tipperary, was also a supporting act for Gavin James last week alongside Jamie McIntyre.

Jamie McIntyre is a former student of St Jarlath’s College, Tuam where he sang in the school choir and performed in the school’s annual opera production.
