Reylta ready to take on the world
WORLD domination is the sole goal of Dunmore singing sensation Reylta, who is eagerly awaiting the launch of her first studio album later this month.
Reylta, or Caoimhe Glynn as her family and friends know her, has been writing and performing her own songs since the tender age of 11 when she decided she could improve on much of the music she was listening to.
Now having graduated from the BIMM Institute with a degree in songwriting, Reylta is keen to show the fruits of her labour over recent years with a 14-track album, Everything Unsaved Will Be Lost.
Reylta’s music is steeped in Irish traditions and heritage, combining poetic lyrics, luscious string arrangements, and rich choral harmonies to create a sound both familiar and wholly her own.
Speaking to The Tuam Herald from her Dublin base, the talented folk musician said she owes a lot to her roots in north Galway, which she draws on throughout her songs.
