Headford bike trail could be tourism ‘gamechanger’
Route could go across the Corrib
A FUNDING boost could be on the way to help develop a cycling route in the Headford area that may even cross Lough Corrib in the future.
Galway County Council has applied for funding for the project which it’s hoped could develop into a new tourist attraction in the scenic area while also providing a much-needed amenity for locals.
The looped route is in the Claran area between Headford town and Lough Corrib ....
