Riverdance star skips in to Milltown pub
Michael Flatley a hit with the locals
IRISH dancing star Michael Flatley made a surprise appearance at a North Galway pub last week.
Staff at Sheridan’s bar and restaurant in Milltown were taken aback when the Riverdance creator stepped in with his driver and a few friends on Wednesday night.
Owner Cathal Sheridan told The Tuam Herald that they were getting ready to wind things down for the night when Flatley came in.
“I thought the driver was having a laugh at first,” quipped Cathal. “But no. Michael was just a few steps behind him and got a great welcome to Milltown.”
It’s understood the multi-millionaire was travelling from Westport in Co Mayo after filming during the day and was en route to the Doonbeg resort in Co Clare for the night…
