Four new EV charging points installed

FOUR electric vehicle charging points are almost ready to be sparked into life in Clonberne.

The quartet of parking spaces have been installed in the car park of the village’s Enterprise Centre and will provide electricity for those who have decided to go electric with their mode of transport.

“We’re waiting for the ESB upgrade to be done and for the spaces to be painted,” said John Kearney, the Treasurer of Clonberne Community Development Committee.

“The charging points will have instructions on them so that people will be able to use them. They will be able to pay through an app for charging the car. It’s a revenue streamed version of it...
