Tuam woman with CF takes on her biggest challenge yet

TUAM’S very own superwoman Caroline Heffernan will really reach new heights next year as she’s set herself the challenge of climbing Kilimanjaro — the highest mountain in Africa at just over 19,000ft.

It’s a considerable challenge for the fittest of people and will prove particularly testing for Caroline who has the lung disease Cystic Fibrosis (CF).
