Easter delights for one and all on heritage trail
Gardenfield's old schoolhouse continues its fundraising drive
OVER one hundred children earned their chocolate eggs over Easter when they took part in a community trail on the outskirts of Tuam.
The Old Gardenfield School Trail was organised by the local community as part of efforts to raise money to restore the historic old schoolhouse in the area.
The 3km route led the children to a number of locations, where they received a stamp and learned a little bit about their local heritage. On their return to the schoolhouse, they were rewarded with an Easter Egg and had a chance to meet the Easter Bunny.
