There are two patients with Covid-19 in ICU in UHG and three in ICU in Portiuncula Hospital. Both hospitals are treating several suspected cases as well.
In addition to Covid, both hospitals are trying to cope with significant flu outbreaks on wards and management has put strict visiting restrictions in place in a bid to curb the spread of infection.
