Tuam student trio are Galway’s only entry in Junk Kouture finals

A TRIO of Transition Year students in Tuam have become the only Galway finalists in this year’s Junk Kouture fashion competition.

Nia Lydon, Beibhinn Gleeson and Katelyn Boyle attend Scoil Bhride, Mercy Secondary School, and have created a stunning dress from hundreds of old cable ties that has made it all the way to the national finals of the prestigious event.
