Dunmore MacHales celebrate their Kings of the Sixties

THE Ard Rí House Hotel, Tuam will be the setting on Friday evening as the footballers that brought honour and glory to Dunmore MacHales GAA Club in the 1960s will gather with family, friends, clubmates and supporters to celebrate, reminisce and relive golden memories from a decade that delivered Frank Fox success on five separate occasions - 1961, ‘63, ‘66, ‘68 and ‘69.
A football signed by all the six captains who led Dunmore to Frank Fox Cup wins - Brian Mahon (1953), John Donnellan (1961 & ‘63), John Keenan (1966 & ‘73), Séamus Leydon (1968), Tommy Keenan (1969) and Michael Noone (1983) - will be auctioned off on the night.
