Pots of fun

THE sky overhead is bright, bright blue and the warmth of the sunshine catching our shoulders could easily be that of a lovely summer’s day, yet the intermittent strong breeze frees the trees of a handful of leaves that take flight into the glorious autumnal air.
Fields are still a lush green, but their rural boundaries are beginning to take on a deeper crimson hue with leaves and berries both bursting with colour. And it’s this bounty of juicy ripened berries that Liz Loftus is eager to pop into her deep basket.
Liz has been roaming back roads and country lanes over the past few weeks harvesting the sweet treats of Mother Nature which she delights in preserving.
She admits that her artisan passion is only a part-time entrepreneurial adventure but it’s something she adores.
