Young student dies in Headford crash
The young man who died in yesterday’s fatal road collision near Headford has been named locally.
Luan McCaul, 20, from Ballyfruit, Heaford died when the car he was driving was involved in a three vehicle collision on the main Headford to Ballinrobe Road on Monday afternoon shortly after 2 pm.
Luan was a student at Galway Technical Institute.
Six other people, including a mother and young baby, the occupants of a jeep, and four others travelling in a separate car, were injured in the crash at Cordarragh, between the town and Glencorrib.
