St Jarlath's and city CU merge to create massive credit union
A MERGER between two of the country’s largest credit unions, Tuam-based St Jarlath’s and the city’s St Anthony’s & Claddagh, will see the creation of one of the biggest and most financially secure credit unions in the country with assets in the region of €500,000,000.
The merger is part of a move to provide a broader range of services to members which will include mortgages and a wide range of other financial products usually associated with mainstream banking.
