Markievicz Park live TV hype on Saturday will be Sky-high

SLIGO, playing at home on Saturday evening, stand between Galway and a place in the Connacht SFC final against Mayo.

GAA history will be made when Markievicz Park, Sligo hosts the first Gaelic football match to be televised live by Sky Sports who have already shown two 'live’ games from the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship — Kilkenny’s quarter-final win over Offaly and Dublin’s quarter-final win over Wexford.
It’ll be a hectic weekend for Galway GAA followers, with the county hurlers in action on Sunday vs Kilkenny in the Leinster semi-final at O’Connor Park, Tullamore at 4.00 o’clock; live on RTE Televison.
