A very good year for Tuam Swimming Club and 2015 is highly promising

TUAM swimmers wrapped up the 2014 season with some fine performances at the Irish Age Group Championships and Summer Open at the National Aquatic Centre in Abbotstown, Dublin.
This year’s Championships attracted a very large entry with swimmers travelling from Britain, the U.S.A. and Germany in addition to the large contingent of Irish swimmers competing at the four-day event.
With the level of competition at an all time high, Tuam’s swimmers held their own with Ciarán Burke winning gold in the boys’ U-14 200m backstroke, silver in the 100m backstroke and bronze in a very exciting 100m freestyle, finishing 3rd in a fast time of 56.36.
