After last winter's managerial upheaval, relegation in spring and routine recent wins over Westmeath and Offaly, the serious business has finally come round.
Sunday's Leinster final with Kilkenny (throw-in 4pm) will be the eighth Championship meeting between the counties in just over four years and, of course, Galway's first summer clash with the Cats since Anthony Cunningham vacated the hot seat and Micheal Donoghue took over.
