Lottery grants for Galway groups

A NUMBER of local groups in Co Galway have received funding through National Lottery grants by the Department of Health.
The funding includes €5,000 for Glinsk Defibrillator Group to purchase four defibrillators.
Other Galway based groups which will benefit include Williams Syndrome Association of Ireland (€15,000), Kilconly Community Recreational Group (€45,041), Act for Meningitis (€10,000), Galway Hospice Foundation (€50,720) and Arthritis Ireland Galway €1,000).

The funding has been welcomed by Roscommon Galway Minister Denis Naughten.
