Major revamp planned for Caherlistrane GAA grounds

New stand and 4G pitch in pipeline

A STATESIDE sojourn for the Galway-New York Connacht Football Championship match at the weekend acted as an important fundraiser for the Caherlistrane GAA club.

The Caherlistrane men’s and ladies football teams joined Cortoon Shamrocks and Killererin in playing games in the Big Apple, a trip that came on the back of a planning application being lodged for a significant revamp of the GAA club grounds in Caherlistrane.
