Cuan’s celebrate after final win over Bailieborough CS

FOR a second time in seven seasons, the footballers of St. Cuan's College, Castleblakeney were crowned All-Ireland Senior D champions.

Goals from Mikey Mulryan, Seán Butler and Thomas Mellody broke the resistance of a fine Bailieborough Community School side at the GAA's National Games Development Centre in Abbotstown.

Afterwards, Herald Sport heard the views of winning manager Ger McDonnell, captain Michael Burke and his fellow players Cillian Fahey, Mulryan and Mellody.
