GALWAY’S strong position in Division 2 of the National Football League was on show again on Sunday as they weathered the wind, rain and a positive Westmeath start to pick up a fourth win with Róisín Leonard’s 50th minute goal the highlight.

After a slow opening ten minutes where the visitors held possession but didn’t deliver the required damage on the scoreboard, the hosts instigated a 13-woman press to break down the Westmeath resistance and closed in ........
