Canney and Grealish get Super Junior Minister roles

GALWAY East Indepdent TD Sean Canney and Galway West Independent TD Noel Grealish are to be appointed as Super Junior Ministers in the next coalition Government.

Belclare's Canney will be the Super Junior Minister at the Department of Transport while Deputy Grealish from Carnmore will be Super Junior Minister in the Department of Agriculture.

Both Galway TDs are part of the Regional Independent Group which has agreed to go into Government with Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael.

Super Junior Ministers can attend Cabinet meetings and discussions but don't have a vote.

Fianna Fáil leader Micheal Martin is set to become the next Taoiseach when the Dáil sits next Wednesday, January 22.
