FF's Anne Rabbitte loses seat in Galway East
SITTING Fianna Fáil seat in Galway East Anne Rabbitte has lost her seat in Galway East.
She was eliminated on the ninth count following the distribution of Albert Dolan’s surplus. Dolan took the second seat.
Rabbitte was first elected to the Dáil in 2016 and won the final seat in the then three-seat Galway East in 2020.
The 10th count is now underway and the most likely viewed to take the remaining two seats are FG’s Pete Roche and SF’s Louis O’Hara.
