Keane’s XL celebrates ten year anniversary

AMY Keane, owner and operator of Keane’s XL Caherlistrane recently invited customers and the wider community to celebrate the occasion of their tenth anniversary of serving the local community by attending a Customer Appreciation Day. The event served to signal the milestone anniversary, but also to thank their local customers for their patronage over the years.

Keane’s XL, which is co-managed by Tanya Warren, provides employment to 15 people locally. It is very much part of the community and supports local underage GAA teams through jersey sponsorship, sponsors the community games shop every year as well as providing discounted catering for local events such as the annual Castlehackett 5km.

Attendees enjoyed Halloween-themed character meet and greets, stilt walkers, facepainting, games, music and giveaways.

“We are very privileged to have the support of family and friends alike as without them we would not be where we are today. We are massively a community driven shop ran by the community for the community and we have employed almost 40 staff since we first opened our doors. Our staff go above and beyond, and we have always been incredibly lucky in that regard,” commented Amy Keane.
