Tuam’s Annie vying for Miss Universe title

Competing this Friday night

A YOUNG Tuam woman has her sights set on becoming the next Miss Universe.

Annie O’Dea is one of two Galway representatives who will face judges at the Miss Universe Ireland final taking place at the Fairways Hotel in Dundalk this Friday, September 20.

Twenty-two-year-old Annie works as a full-time model and content creator and is a qualified make-up artist and digital marketeer. Annie recently featured in British Vogue in its June, July and August editions.

The daughter of Padraig and Imelda O’Connor O’Dea, Annie will be among the 27 finalists hoping to make it through to represent Ireland in the prestigious competition. The other Galway representative is Kameryn Counihan (24) from Loughrea.
