Claregalway’s musical society countdown to The Addams Family
THE award-winning 9 Arch Claregalway Musical Society returns to the stage next week with their production of The Addams Family.
The show runs in Galway’s Town Hall Theatre from November 16 to 19. The cast is excited to be returning to a moonlit stage after bringing home five national awards at the AIMS Awards ceremony in June, including awards for Best Chorus, Best Choreography, Best Actress, Best Musical Director, and Best Overall Show.
The Addams Family musical brings your favourite spooky and fun characters to the stage including Gomez, (Jay Hall), Morticia (Suzanne Garvey), Wednesday (Síofra Ni Chonluain), Lucas (Keith Hanley), Pugsley (Sarah Brennan), Fester (Richard Brown), Grandma (Ailbhe Slevin), Lurch (Mervyn Fahy), and Alice & Mal Beineke (Roisin Lawless and David Alexander).
When Wednesday invites her secret fiancé and his seemingly normal family to dinner, all chaos erupts in a hilarious comedy. As the ancestors come back to life to join in the fun and dance routines, the Addams Family mansion comes alive in this family-friendly production!
The musical society is delighted to have once again their fabulous award-winning production team comprising Alan Greaney, Director; Shane Farrell, Musical Director; Jay Molyneux, Choreographer and a multi-talented cast of over 50 many of whom hail from Claregalway, surrounding areas and Galway city.
