Athenry campus gets ready to host sheep open day
TEAGASC’S national sheep open day will be run at their Athenry hub on Saturday, June 18.
The Mellows Campus on the outskirts of the town will have a have an array of technical stands, workshops, and demonstrations on display detailing the research work being done on site.
Technical advice will be supplied to sheep farmers, or any other farmer and person in attendance, from the likes of Philip Creighton (Grassland Scientist and Sheep Enterprise Leader in Athenry), field technicians, PhD students and other staff members.
