Lidl Athenry gone to An Bord Pleanála

GHOST Zapper Limited, the group behind the proposed Athenry development which will include a €10 million Lidl discount supermarket, has appealed their rejected planning permission decision to An Bord Pleanála.

Last month, Galway County Council made known their verdict as they listed nine reasons for their decision that included dissatisfaction that the proposed demolition of a protected structure on the site would satisfy the criteria for exceptional circumstances.
