Mental health day calls on Headford people to come out and say hello
A LOCAL MEP and a host of musical stars from Headford will lead the celebrations in the town’s first ‘Hello Headford, How Are You?’ day to celebrate and promote positive mental health.
The initiative, developed by Mental Health Ireland, will take place at St George’s Square beside the Thatch Bar on Friday April 8, with guest of honour MEP Maria Walsh to speak on the importance of talking openly about mental health.
Organised by Solas Family Resource Centre, the day will feature some of Headford’s finest musical talents in Matt Cunningham, Noelie McDonnell of the Whileaways and Don Stiffe.
