Mountbellew Ag College welcomes students

THE Principal of Mountbellew Agricultural College, Dr Edna Curley, was “delighted” to have the first of the ‘Farm Walk and Talk’ series hosted in the North Galway town on Monday. Some 400 secondary school students from the west, north and midlands attended the event, the first time it was held in-person since 2020.

Agri Aware has been overseeing the initiative for the past 15 years, in collaboration with Teagasc, The Farmers Journal, UCD and IASTA (Irish Agricultural Science Teachers’ Association).
