Let there be light in Clonberne

Plenty of walkways to enjoy safely in the evenings

WALKING the village of Clonberne has become a lot more accessible and attractive due to the installation of three new sets of lights.

There are 17 new lights running through the village, new LED lighting at the GAA ground, as well as new LED lighting along the walking track that goes around the main GAA pitch.

A lit-walk in the depths of a winter’s evening can be taken from the church, past the nursing home and Country Inn, up along by HM Stores and Hynes’ Garage, before reaching the Enterprise Centre. From there, patrons can decide to head down to the walkway by the pitches or continue along the footpath where lights are in operation out towards the graveyard road.
