Gardaí following line of enquiry in Mountbellew assault

AN individual has come forward to assist Gardaí in their investigations into a serious assault that took place in Mountbellew in the early hours of Sunday morning, The Tuam Herald understands.

A man local to the area in his 20s was taken to Beaumont Hospital in Dublin as a result of the incident and is now in a stable condition.
