Mountbellew four all ready to ‘beef’ things up for final

Students reach national finals

A GROUP of four Mountbellew students have taken charge of five calves as part of their prize for reaching the finals of a prestigious and unique Agri schools competition.

Holy Rosary College students, Peter O’Neill, Oisín Colleran, Amy Higgins and Cormac Delaney received their prize at the National Ploughing Championships, after reaching the final of this year’s National Certified Angus Beef Schools Competition.
