Tempers flare as Tuam councillors fail to resolve funding row
VEXED exchanges in the council chamber last Thursday saw members of Tuam Municipal District Council fail to resolve a bitter row over how €180,000 allocated to the region should be spent.
Tempers flared at the meeting, where Fine Gael councillors Andrew Reddington and Pete Roche and Independent Karey McHugh refused to discuss items added to the agenda until the funding matter was debated.
