All-Ireland champions fall in epic semi-final

THIS was camogie at it’s very best. And that’s not because of the result, although it certainly does help but regardless of that, what Galway and Cork produced in Limerick on Saturday night was as good of entertainment as you’ll see.
In terms of tension and drama, it topped both of Sunday’s All-Ireland finals. These were two teams going at it hammer and tongs for 60-plus relentless minutes of heart-stopping action.
Galway were the better team throughout and yet, the fear was always there that Cork would strike the killer blow in the game’s dying embers.
