Towns in the West need to ‘Think locally, interact regionally, act globally’

OVER 120 business people attended a brainstorming event in Tuam on Friday March 8 to discuss topics such as infrastructure, interconnected transport, retail challenges, Tuam’s deep heritage and cultural assets as well as multiculturalism and community engagement.
The event was organised by Action Tuam in association with Galway Local Enterprise Office. Ministers Pat Breen and Sean Canney commended the participants on showing initiative to drive the economic prosperity of Tuam within the region.
The event facilitator was Asset Based community expert and TEDx speaker Cormac Russell, with decades of experience from 35 countries.
