Multi-million investment driving more jobs
AN investment of €44 million will see the Valeo facility in Tuam create an extra 50 new jobs and make it one of the biggest Research, Development and Innovation centres in the country.
The announcement this morning (Wednesday) is viewed as a massive endorsement for Tuam and what it can offer employers. Valeo are global leaders in the technology being developed for autonomous (self-driving) vehicles and currently employ more than 1,000 people at their facilities on the Dunmore Road.
