New Athenry school opens its doors

A NEW multi-million-euro school opened its doors to its students in Athenry today (Monday).

The impressive building is now home to Presentation College in Athenry and can cater for 1,000 students. It offers extensive educational facilities as well as plenty of space for physical education and sports.

The new school follows years of intensive campaigning by parents, staff and students.
