Tuam youths head to Florida for World School Cheerleading Championships
AN energetic group of teenagers from the Tuam area are flying to Florida tomorrow (Thursday) where they will represent their schools and their country in the World School Cheerleading Championships.
The highly competitive event features some 5,000 participants and the 18 secondary school students from North Galway are one of two groups from Ireland who have qualified.
The Tuam contingent are aged between 12 and 17 years and are all members of Ace High Cheerleading.
