VIDEO Brendan’s going Live

Tuam’s Brendan Murray has made it through to the Live Shows in The X Factor.

His performance of the iconic song ‘Nothing Compares 2 U’ at Judges Houses in Ibiza secured his spot among Louis Tomlinson’s final four in the Boys category.

Judge Louis had to choose four out of six in the Boys category and was helped by One Direction pal Liam Payne and music legend Nile Rodgers of Chic.

After Brendan sang, a moved Nile Rodgers told him he was trying to hold back the tears. 

Tears of joy came too from an emotional and thrilled Brendan who rang home to tell his mum Juilanne and Frank the good news. “We’re so proud of you Brendan,” said Julianne after the cheers of delight were heard down the phone from family in a Tuam.
