No stopping Kilkerrin-Clonberne
THE milestones just keep on coming for Kilkerrin-Clonberne. As recently as 2012 the north Galway club was plying its trade in intermediate football, but ever since they've been masters of all they survey at senior level and are currently the undisputed standard-bearers in the county.
Corofin, a side with no shortage of quality in their ranks, simply had no answers to the champions' potent mixture of pace, athleticism and devastating finishing power on Saturday afternoon.
Twenty-two points separated the teams in the unseasonal sunshine in Moycullen, as Kilkerrin-Clonberne completed a first-ever six in-a-row of Senior Championship titles, breaking further new ground in the process.
