One country music legend writes about another!

JOURNALIST and Country Music columnist with The Tuam Herald Tom Gilmore is the author of a new book on Country Music legend Big Tom which was launched at a weekend memorial to the star in his hometown of Castleblayney, Co Monaghan.
The book ‘Big Tom, The King of Irish Country’ is published by O’Brien Press and was officially launched on Saturday much to the delight of many thousands of devoted fans who attended various Big Tom events over the two days.
The Tuam Herald in conjunction with O’Toole’s SuperValu will host an official book signing and local launch of the book. Everyone is invited to attend the event at the Palace Restaurant in SuperValu Tuam between 4.30 and 6pm tomorrow Thursday, September 27 where Tom will be on hand to talk about the book and sign copies.
