‘Boozing’ alley to be transformed into new classrooms
AN old handball alley which has been described as a magnet for anti-social behaviour will be transformed into a new home for second level construction studies students.
St Jarlath’s College in Tuam had originally wanted to flatten the 1950s concrete structure but were refused planning permission as the outdoor court was deemed to be culturally significant.
