U-17 footballers meet Roscommon in historic decider
DR HYDE PARK, Roscommon will be the venue on Friday evening as Galway and Roscommon go head-to-head in the Connacht Minor Football Championship final (throw-in: 7.30pm).
It's the first at the grade since age limit dropped to U-17 but the prize at stake remains unchanged with the Kilcoyne Cup up for grabs, as Galway bid to add to the last three Connacht minor titles won at U-18 level under Steven Joyce's watch as well as progress as provincial champions into the All-Ireland series.
